Today and Tomorrow

Today and Tomorrow, Renovation and Enhancement

With the few repairs made to our Church in the past 50 years and our new roof in place, we are now ready to move forward and begin our renovation project. The new gold-leafing the of domes has been completed. They now look brand new. This endeavor will show our appreciation to those who sacrificed to give us this beautiful Church. It will also secure a dignified place of worship and a legacy for future generations.

Our Renovation Project is Well Underway)

Now that the gold leafing of the church domes has been completed, the Renovation Committee has undertaken the second phase on its agenda: The construction of the elevator well, the updating of the electrical service, the installation of the elevator and the central air conditioning system in the church. I take this opportunity to extend my thanks to all contributors whose generosity has made this work possible, and also to the members of the Renovation Committee for their dedication.

May I seize this opportunity to thank all donors whose generosity has made this important project possible. I would like to ask those among them who have been regularly sending in their pledges to continue their appreciated support in order to enable us to bring this vital project to completion.

Finally I would like to launch a personal appeal to all parishioners who have not yet made any pledge or donation to the Legacy Campaign and ask them not to hesitate any longer. It is never too late to do a good work. God will certainly be pleased if we return to Him a part of the many blessings He has bestowed upon us. Let us give according to our means. No matter how small our gift, it is agreeable to the Lord. Remember the story of the poor widow who put in two small copper coins. Jesus highly praised her generosity because she gave “from what she lived on”. A gift coming from our heart goes directly to the heart of God.

Thank you for your unfailing support!
Fr. Alam
